CIWW SAFETY SYMPOSIUM

Cardiff International White Water and PALM are proud to present their very first safety symposium.

 Are you interested In learning how to be safe in a moving water environment, or feel like you would like to gain more experience and knowledge in the rescue field?

 Our tailor made workshops are designed to increase paddlers awareness and encourage best practice.

  The full day will involve 4 workshops of your choice including…

·        Swimming in moving water       

·        Swimmer rescues

·        Live bait

·        First aid

·        Safe paddling

·        Rope tricks

·        Safety / rescue equipment

·        Entrapments

·        Boat pins

·        Kayak based rescues

·        Security on steeper ground

 

Come and speak to the guys who make your gear! Palm will be available to answer questions, show off new kit and join in with the fun!

The cost will be £40 for the full day or £25 for students. The price will also include soup and a bread roll for lunch

Some workshops have limited availability and will be on a first come first served basis.
